Having always been a singer, I took up the horn in my mid-forties and joined my first 'proper' orchestra in 2008. I moved to Cornwall in 2016 and first played with TSO three years later, joining it properly in 2021. I especially love playing larger-scale chamber music, and the Chamber Music Club (established in 2022 by TSO's principal viola, Lindsay) provides an ideal forum. I've organised groups to play pieces there for 5, 6, 7, 9, 11 and 13 instruments - many combining winds and strings, my favourite mix.
